Temptations AI Review 2026: Cheap Entry, Energy Meters and a Long List of Upsells

What is Temptations AI and how does it work?

Temptations AI is a browser-based adult companion app and dating simulator from Temptation Games, which its terms of service identify as MMN7 LIT GAMES DEVELOPMENT LIMITED, with the agreement governed by Cyprus law. It appeared on the adult games portal Nutaku on 27 May 2024 and runs at temptations.ai as a web app. You create a character or pick one that another user has shared, then chat, request photos, voice clips and, in beta, short videos. Everything you do draws on a daily energy allowance.

Sign-up asks for an email and password or a social login, plus a checkbox confirming you are 18 or older. There is no card request and no identity check. A minute later you are looking at a feed of community characters ranked by activity over the last 30 days. Every profile shows an occupation, a personality type, a list of kinks and a short origin story, and tapping one drops you straight into the chat.

The interface is dark and simple, with a language switcher offering English, German, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. The app also tells you that the AI will answer in other languages, with a warning that quality varies. It works in mobile browsers, Nutaku offers an Android APK (the app is not on Google Play), and there is no iOS app.

Temptations AI character creator and community library

The creator is the strongest part of the product. You name the character, choose an occupation from a long list (teacher, stepsister, elf, boss and many more), then a personality on a scale from obedient and yielding to assertive and commanding, a tone of voice and any number of kink tags, from mild bondage to mind control to swapping partners. Appearance comes next: realistic or anime style, an age bracket, body type and hair, after which the model renders several cover photos and you keep one or regenerate.

Then the story step. You pick the role you play opposite the character and the place where you first meet, and the app writes a backstory and a set of example messages, or you write them yourself using a username placeholder so the AI addresses you correctly. Creating a character costs 500 energy, which means a free user can build roughly one per day. In our test the generated stories were serviceable and a little generic; the characters we wrote by hand stayed in role better.

Characters are public by default and go into the community feed. Making one private needs a Boyfriend subscription or higher. The studio runs monthly top-character contests with Nutaku Gold prizes (20,000 Gold for first place at the time of writing), so the feed leans heavily toward whatever is popular that month, which is mostly explicit anime archetypes. A shared media gallery sits behind the paywall as well.

Chat quality, AI models and memory on Temptations AI

Temptations AI runs three model grades, labelled Starter, Pro and Ultimate, plus paid packs with bigger models (an Ultimate pack and a Super AI 405B option). Free users get Starter. The app itself warns that Starter generation is slowed down and that it cannot produce explicit content in some cases. That matched our experience: flirting and setup scenes were fine, long explicit scenes produced short, repetitive replies, and the upgrade prompt appeared several times a session. On Pro and Ultimate the replies were longer, kept the character’s voice and reacted to the story card more reliably.

Memory is counted in messages. Free and Friend users get 10 messages of context, Boyfriend and Daddy 30, Boss 50, the Memory upgrade or a Master subscription 100, and a Hybrid Memory system in the top God tier claims 200. Ten messages is short. On the free plan our characters forgot a name or a plot point after a dozen exchanges, and the story card was the only thing holding the premise together. For comparison, GoLove AI recalled planted facts weeks later on its cheapest plan.

A small formatting note from the r/nutaku community that we can confirm: the model tends to read text between asterisks as dialogue rather than action. Quotation marks for speech and plain sentences for actions worked better in our sessions.

NSFW content, kinks and moderation

This is an adult product first. Explicit chat is the default once you are on a paid model, the image tool has a nudity option, and the kink tags cover a wide range. The studio’s own site says its AI has no boundaries or restrictions, which is marketing. The terms of service ban sexual content involving minors, deceptive content and recordings of real people's voices, hate and harassment, and give the operator the right to close an account for a single violation without explanation. The creator's age brackets carry the app's own labels, Legal Teen, Adult and MILF, and the terms require every character to be an adult.

In August and September 2024, Nutaku players reported a wave of policy flags on harmless phrases after an update, with one user saying even “how long ago” triggered a warning and that chats broke once memory hit 100 messages. In our October 2026 sessions we did not hit false flags in ordinary adult roleplay. What we did hit was the Starter model declining explicit turns and pointing us to a subscription, so the free tier shows you the chat and little of the adult experience.

Temptations AI photos, voice messages and video

A photo costs 200 energy, so a free user gets about three a day and a Friend subscriber ten. Generation took 15 to 25 seconds in our test and failed attempts refund the energy. The app credits a Pony Diffusion-based model, and it shows: anime output is consistent and attractive, realistic output is decent but less reliable on hands and backgrounds. You choose from preset poses and scenes, including explicit ones, or buy the Control upgrade (2,000 Nutaku Gold, about $20 a month) to type your own prompt. The in-app prompt tips are worth reading before you pay for that.

Voice works as audio replies. You pick a voice per character and the model answers with a clip when you ask. At 1 energy per clip it is effectively free, which is unusual; Candy AI and JOI AI both meter voice more tightly. There are no live calls. Voice quality is clear and a little flat, fine for a line or two, less convincing for a long scene.

Video is in beta. You generate a good photo first, use it as the first frame, pick a preset motion prompt and wait two to three minutes. Output is a short loop of a 2D character. Clips are sold in video packs starting at 400 Nutaku Gold (about $4) or through a test upgrade capped at 15 videos. Our three clips were fun once and not something we would pay for regularly.

Temptations AI pricing: energy, subscriptions, credits and upgrades

There are four regular tiers, and the live price list in October 2026 showed Friend at $4, Boyfriend at $15, Daddy at $20 and Boss at $40 per month. On Nutaku the same tiers cost 400, 1,500, 2,000 and 4,000 Gold a month (100 Gold is roughly one dollar), and yearly plans run 1,600, 5,000, 6,000 and 9,600 Gold, which works out at about $1.35 to $8 a month. Energy refills daily and does not stack, so a Boss subscriber who chats twice a week pays for a lot of unused energy.

Then come the add-ons, each billed monthly in Nutaku Gold: an AI memory upgrade to 100 messages (2,000 Gold), Control for custom image prompts (2,000), an Ultimate models pack (2,000), a global performance upgrade (3,500), Super AI 405B (4,000) and a God tier with Hybrid Memory (12,000). Credits are a second currency sold in packs from 300 to 3,800 Gold and used for premium model messages, and bundles such as a Master megabundle stack a yearly subscription with tens of thousands of credits. A Master tier with 100-message memory also appears in the app; its price display was inconsistent during our test, so check it in the checkout.

Friend plus the memory upgrade plus Control is about $44 a month, more than Boss on its own and far more than a year of Boyfriend on Nutaku. For most people the sensible stops are Friend at $4 to get the better models, or Boyfriend at $15 for private characters and 30-message memory.

Privacy, billing and refunds

Payment routes are unusual. You can pay with Nutaku Gold, redeem a key bought on G2A, or use the card button inside the app. The Patreon page the app links to had been removed and the Boosty account showed as blocked when we checked in October 2026, so two of the five advertised routes were dead. A Nutaku purchase shows up as Nutaku on your statement, which is discreet by accident. We could not verify what the direct card route prints on a statement, so do not count on a neutral descriptor.

Refunds are strict. The terms allow a request within 24 hours of payment, refuse it once any message or media has been generated, and allow up to 30 days to process. Subscriptions are bought as periods, so there is nothing to cancel; a Reddit user on r/nutaku summed it up as buying time and letting it expire. Virtual items are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

The privacy policy (dated February 2024) names MongoDB for chat logs, BunnyCDN for images and Supabase for accounts, and lists Google Analytics, Facebook, PostHog, MyTracker and Devtodev as analytics partners; the homepage also loads a VK-group tracker. It states that no card data is stored, sets no fixed retention period and makes no encryption claim. Deleting your account is a button in settings or an email with your user ID to support@temptationgames.com. Use an email that is not tied to your name.

How we tested Temptations AI

Two of us used Temptations AI over three weeks in September and October 2026. The first week was free tier only, to see how far 600 energy and 10 messages go. One account then took Friend for a month and the other Boyfriend. We built four characters, chatted daily with six community ones, generated a few dozen photos, used voice replies throughout and made three beta videos.

Facts were checked against the live price endpoint the app loads, the terms of service and privacy policy on temptationgames.com, the Nutaku listing and the in-app text. We searched Trustpilot, Product Hunt and Reddit for independent opinions and quote only comments with a public URL. The weights in the table below are the same seven criteria we apply to every app; the review methodology page explains how each one is scored.

Temptations AI vs JOI AI, Candy AI, OurDream AI and Lovescape

Bought yearly through Nutaku, Temptations AI is the cheapest product in this table; bought monthly on the web and topped up with add-ons, it is not. On memory and polish it trails every rival listed here. The Temptations AI row shows the October 2026 web price next to the Nutaku yearly plan converted at roughly 100 Gold per dollar; the other columns are the lowest advertised monthly rates on annual billing, and every figure moves with promotions.

Pick Temptations AI if you want anime characters, kink-tagged roleplay and a bill under $5. JOI AI is the choice for voice calls and a personality that adapts. Candy AI has the better images and video. OurDream AI gives the most control over scenes. Lovescape ($7.99/mo billed yearly) and Nectar AI ($4.99/mo billed yearly) both offer stronger character editors with realistic styles if anime is not your thing.

Tips for getting more out of Temptations AI

Most of the energy we wasted went on regenerated photos and characters that drifted out of role; these habits cut both.

1. Enter an invite code at sign-up; it adds 600 energy and 10 messages, and referring friends can earn you a free subscription
2. Write the backstory and example messages yourself; the hand-written characters stayed in role noticeably longer
3. Put speech in quotation marks and actions in plain sentences, since asterisks are often read as dialogue
4. Restate key facts every ten messages or so on free and Friend plans, because that is the whole memory window
5. Generate photos early in a session while you have energy, and use the failed-generation refund if a pose comes out wrong
6. Buy yearly on Nutaku if you stay beyond a month; the web monthly price plus add-ons is the expensive way in

If a scene turns repetitive, clear the chat and reopen it from the story card instead of correcting the character line by line. Clearing wipes generated media for that chat, so save anything you want first.

Is Temptations AI legit and safe?

The terms of service name the operator, Temptation Games (MMN7 LIT GAMES DEVELOPMENT LIMITED), and put the agreement under Cyprus law. The app has been listed on Nutaku since May 2024, publishes terms, a privacy policy, a DMCA policy, an underage policy and a 2257 record-keeping page, and keeps a Discord and a public feedback board. The free tier worked as advertised in our test, and the Friend and Boyfriend subscriptions we bought activated immediately.

Money and support are the weak spots. Nutaku players described unanswered tickets and flag-happy moderation in 2024, and in June 2025 one user reported spending about $50 of Gold on a Master subscription without the benefit arriving. Two advertised payment routes were dead when we checked. With the 24-hour refund clause on top, a wrong purchase is hard to reverse, so buy one month at a time. There is no Trustpilot page or Product Hunt listing to lean on, so our advice is to judge it on the free tier first.
